Your role

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Team Lead to own the sales function at Outsourcery, including inbound, outbound and network sales channels. The Sales Team Lead will also be responsible for managing and building a best-in-class sales team. This role will report to the CEO.

  • Present, promote and sell Outsourcery services to prospective customers.
  • Support the talent management team to accurately match our talent with clients needs.
  • Manage the sales team in order to increase performance and exceed sales targets. 
  • Manage network sales projects, including affiliates, the sales partner programme and partnerships.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Analyse market potential, track sales and provide status reports.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Provide feedback to the web, delivery and management team to help develop the product and improve sales performance. 
  • Ensure effective use of sales software e.g HubSpot.
  • Contribute towards;
    • Setting discount rates and determining price schedules.
    • Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
    • Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
    • Performance management of poor performing sales specialists.

Your compensation and benefits

  • On-target earnings (OTE) from R700,000 to R900,000 per year, subject to experience.

  • Adept at building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A self-starter; Selling  in a remote environment is not for everyone.
  • Provides consistent coaching to the team that will help them execute the sales process.
  • Cultivates a high-performance sales culture and inspires the team to succeed.

  • SA Citizenship or valid SA work visa
  • Relevant qualifications and experience (varies by role)
  • Proficient Client Relationship Management and top-notch professional English communication
  • Your personal computer/laptop running a Windows 8 or later / MacOS 10.14 or later, licenced operating system
  • Minimum internet speed of 20/20mbps or higher
  • A dedicated well lit, home office space for effective remote work
  • Infrastructure to sustain work during load shedding, particularly for internet and computer/laptop reliability
